The Best Toy Haulers (2027 Models)
Updated 2026-10-16 · ACamper RV Research
The best value toy hauler is the Grand Design Momentum MAV 22MAV: a 13' 6" garage, 4,050 lbs of cargo capacity and a 90-gallon fresh tank in a 26-foot trailer with a dry tongue weight under 1,000 lbs.
If you need a fifth wheel for full-size side-by-sides or long trips, the Keystone Raptor 441 has a 15-foot garage, dual 30-gallon fuel tanks and a 173-gallon fresh tank. The Jayco Seismic 395 and Alliance Valor 44V14 both have 14-foot garages and around 5,000 lbs of cargo capacity.
Measure your toy, then compare it to the garage length on the factory drawing, not the model name. A "14" in the model code doesn't always mean 14 usable feet.
How to pick a toy hauler
Garage length and width for your toys
A two-seat UTV is about 10–11 feet long; a four-seat UTV is 13–15 feet. Measure with the ramp in mind: you need clearance at the front wall, room to open doors, and space for tie-down straps. Garage width is usually 7–8 feet between the wheel wells.
Cargo capacity that covers toys plus life
A side-by-side can weigh 1,500–2,000 lbs. Add fuel, water and your gear. Look for at least 3,500 lbs of cargo capacity if you'll haul a UTV, and check the ramp door's weight rating.
Separate garage or open floorplan
An open floorplan (the garage is the living room) saves weight and length. A separate garage with a wall or door keeps fumes and dirt out of the living space and lets you sleep someone in the garage without moving furniture.
A fuel station and generator
Many toy haulers have an onboard fuel tank (30–60 gallons) to refill toys at camp, and a generator for off-grid power. They add weight, so check the GVWR.
Travel-trailer toy haulers
These tow with a ball hitch and fit dirt bikes, ATVs and smaller UTVs. All need at least a well-equipped half-ton, and most are happier behind a 3/4-ton.
Grand Design Momentum MAV 22MAV: Best value
There are no slides, which keeps the weight down, and the floor is open, with 17 feet of floor space. The front has a queen Murphy bed, and the garage has a rollover sofa with a top bed and a pull-down screen. It carries 90 gallons of fresh water and has 4,050 lbs of cargo capacity, which is a lot for a sub-6,000 lb trailer.
Watch for: There's no separate bedroom; the bed is in the main room. The fridge is 8 cubic feet.

Grand Design Momentum MAV 27MAV: Best with a separate bedroom
It has the same 13' 6" garage as the 22MAV plus a front bedroom with a 60" × 80" queen and a full kitchen. It's the most-listed toy hauler in our inventory, so it's easy to find and resell. Cargo capacity is 4,100 lbs, and the fresh tank is 90 gallons.
Watch for: At 11,000 lbs GVWR, it's out of half-ton range once loaded.

Grand Design Momentum G-Class 21G: Best short premium toy hauler
It fits a 14-foot garage, a 30-gallon fuel station and a queen bedroom in a slide into just 27 feet. That makes it the shortest trailer here that holds a four-seat UTV. The 7' 7" ceiling and G-Class build quality are a step up from MAV.
Watch for: The rollover sofas in the garage are optional, so check what the unit you're buying has. It costs much more than a MAV.

Fifth-wheel toy haulers
These are for big UTVs, multiple bikes, or living in a toy hauler. They need a 1-ton truck, and the 45-footers are best with a dually.
Grand Design Momentum G-Class 320G: Best mid-size fifth wheel
The 11-foot garage is behind a wall, so the living area feels like a regular fifth wheel: an island kitchen, theater seats, a 15 cubic foot fridge and a front queen. It also has a 30-gallon fuel station and washer/dryer prep, and the ceiling is 8' 7" tall. It's a good choice for dirt bikes or a two-seat UTV.
Watch for: An 11-foot garage won't fit most four-seat UTVs. The grey tank is only 52 gallons.

Keystone Raptor 441: Longest garage
The garage is 15 feet long, or 13 feet if you add the optional half bath. It has welded A-track tie-downs, dual 30-gallon fuel tanks, a 50-amp cord reel and a motorized ramp door. Raptor's 173-gallon fresh tank is the biggest here. Up front is a king bed and washer/dryer prep, it rides on a 12" I-beam frame, and the pin box is a CURT Helix with coil spring and shock.
Watch for: The dry pin weight is nearly 4,000 lbs, so plan on a dually or a medium-duty truck. The 20 cubic foot fridge is a 12-volt unit.

Jayco Seismic 395: Best patio deck
The 14-foot cargo area has a queen bed over convertible sofas, plus an overhead loft. The ramp drops into a party deck with stairs. In the living area there's a tri-fold sofa, theater seats, a roll-top dinette and a front 72" × 80" king with a walk-in shower. Cargo capacity is 4,925 lbs, and the fresh tank holds 106 gallons. Jayco's two-year warranty is longer than most.
Watch for: The fridge is a 12-volt unit. Jayco's warranty excludes RVs used as a residence, so this one is for trips, not full-time living.

Alliance Valor 44V14: Most cargo capacity
Its 5,105 lbs of cargo capacity is the most of any fifth wheel here. The garage has Happijac roll-over sofas, a 60" × 80" bed above, and a 30" × 72" bunk loft, so it can sleep a crowd. There's an L-shaped sofa, a power-tilt king, a 48" × 30" shower, and 106-gallon grey and black tanks.
Watch for: It sleeps 11 on paper, but with one full bath. Alliance has a smaller dealer network than Grand Design or Keystone.

Brinkley Model G 3950: Best premium toy hauler
The 14-foot garage has independent dual sofas, a drop-down bed, a fold-n-stow table and a fuel station. The garage bathroom ("man-space bath") has fold-away walls. A loft with a twin bed sits over the garage, and the dining table converts to an L-desk. It has 150 gallons of fresh water and 156 of grey, a 70" × 80" king, and a 30" × 42" shower. Brinkley's warranty explicitly covers full-time use.
Watch for: It weighs 18,700 lbs dry and costs about twice as much as a Seismic. Lean on the dealer for a test tow.

Picks other lists get wrong
Forest River Nightfall 21N
Camping World's toy hauler list features it as a sub-30-foot pick. It isn't in the 2027 Nightfall spec sheets. The closest current model is the Nightfall 22N (28' 6", 11,375 lb GVWR), which was new for 2026.
Grand Design Momentum "M-Class" 395MS
It's still recommended on 2025-era lists, but we found no 2027 spec sheet for it. Grand Design's big 2027 Momentum toy hauler is the new 395MT, about 46 feet with a 23,500 lb GVWR. Compare a leftover 395MS against the 395MT before you buy.
Will my toy fit?
| Dirt bike | About 7 feet long. Two to three fit in a 10–12 foot garage. |
| Full-size ATV | About 6–7 feet long, 4 feet wide. |
| Two-seat UTV (Polaris RZR, Can-Am Maverick) | About 10–11 feet long, 5–6 feet wide. |
| Four-seat UTV | About 13–15 feet long. Needs a 14–15 foot garage. |
| Golf cart | About 8–9 feet long, 4 feet wide. |
FAQ
What is the best toy hauler?
For value, the Grand Design Momentum MAV 22MAV or 27MAV (13' 6" garage, about 4,000 lbs of cargo capacity). For a fifth wheel, the Keystone Raptor 441 has the longest garage (15 feet), and the Alliance Valor 44V14 has the most cargo capacity (5,105 lbs).
What size toy hauler do I need for a side-by-side?
A two-seat UTV fits a 12–13 foot garage. A four-seat UTV needs a 14–15 foot garage, like the Momentum G-Class 21G, Jayco Seismic 395, Alliance Valor 44V14 or Keystone Raptor 441.
Can a half-ton pull a toy hauler?
Only the lightest ones, and only with careful loading. The Momentum MAV 22MAV has a 943 lb dry tongue weight, but its 9,950 lb GVWR and the weight of a loaded garage push most half-tons past their payload. A 3/4-ton is the realistic minimum.
Is a toy hauler good for full-time living?
Many full-timers choose toy haulers because the garage doubles as an office, gym or patio. Look for a separate garage, big tanks and lots of cargo capacity, and check that the warranty allows full-time use.
How we researched this
We started from the toy haulers on the top-ranking lists (Camping World 2025 and 2026) and the most-listed 2027 toy hauler floorplans in our catalog.
Garage lengths were read off each manufacturer's 2027 floorplan drawing (2026 for the Brinkley Model G 3950).
Weights and tanks come from the 2027 spec sheets. Prices and counts come from ACamper's crawl of dealer inventory through Oct 14, 2026.
