The Depot is a family-owned RV park on Broadway in West Cape May, about a mile from the beaches. It has been run by the same family since 1972, and it's the closest campground to Cape May's beaches, Victorian downtown and marinas. Wildwood's boardwalk is a short drive north.
There are 240 sites on a grid of paved lanes named after old railroad lines. Most are seasonal sites rented for the whole summer. About 80 are rented by the night or week, from 30-amp sites under the pines to full-hookup sites on stone pads. Bookings are by phone only, and the park takes cash or checks, not cards.
