Sun Valley Family Campground is a wooded park nine miles outside Lima, Ohio. It sits on 40 acres with 242 campsites. The park opened in 1987 on the site of the old Marshall Quarry.
All sites have full water and sewer hookups. The lots are spacious and shaded. Tent sites are also offered, with or without electric. Seasonal and residential sites are available on longer contracts.
The park suits families. The one-acre pool has two water slides, and two stocked quarry lakes offer fishing. Playgrounds, courts and a camp store add to the stay. The Rec Hall can be rented by the public for events.
