PirateLand sits right on the Atlantic at the south end of Myrtle Beach, just outside the city limits, in the middle of the Grand Strand's 60 miles of beach. It opened in 1966 as one of the area's first campgrounds.
Every campsite has full hookups, and staying here gets you into the water park: an Olympic-size outdoor pool, a 510-foot lazy river, a splash pool, and Splashbuckler's Cove, a pirate-themed indoor pool and splash park that opened in April 2026.
