Private RV park / campground in Lake Buena Vista, FL.
Fort Wilderness is Walt Disney World's campground: about 750 acres of pine and cypress on Bay Lake, a boat ride from Magic Kingdom. It opened in 1971, the same year as Magic Kingdom. Deer, rabbits and armadillos wander the loops.
Every campsite has water, electric and cable TV, a picnic table, a charcoal grill and Wi-Fi, and all but the tent sites have sewer. The biggest (Premium) pads are 18 by 60 feet, and Disney says the campground takes RVs of 45 feet and longer. You get around the 750 acres on internal buses, bikes or a rented golf cart, and boats run to Magic Kingdom and the lake resorts. Guests get Disney resort perks, like buying Lightning Lane passes up to 7 days before their stay.
