Ahmeek Coppermine Camp is a rustic campground in Mohawk, Michigan, on the grounds of a historic copper mine. It sits off Hwy. 41 on the Keweenaw Peninsula, minutes from Copper Harbor. It offers campsites and cabins from May through October.
The park has 10 cabins, 29 tent sites and 11 RV sites. Cabins are 8 by 20 feet with a king and two twin beds. The RV sites have no electric, water or sewer hookups. Restrooms are unisex privies, and there is a central water source.
The campground connects directly to the Keweenaw Peninsula Trail system. It suits trail riders, hikers, bikers and sledders. Owners Stacey and Nick bought the property in 2020 and restored the buildings.
